RC Cebu Port Centre gathers for President's Night 2026

What a memorable evening as the Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre gathered for President’s Night 2026, a fitting celebration of a Rotary year marked by leadership, service, friendship, and shared accomplishments.

Outgoing President Francis Walter Ong took center stage in expressing his heartfelt gratitude to his Board of Directors, committee chairs, members, and our valued partners in service whose unwavering commitment made this Rotary year truly meaningful. Together, they demonstrated that when we Unite for Good, we create lasting impact in our communities.

One of the highlights of the evening was the induction of our newest Rotarian, Mr. James Robert “Jim” Fink, led by none other than District Governor Angel “Jong” Fernandez. His induction signifies another dedicated servant-leader joining the RCCPC family, strengthening our mission of Service Above Self.

The evening also honored excellence through the presentation of Club Awards, District Awards, and the much-anticipated Rotarian of the Year Award, recognizing those who exemplified outstanding commitment and service throughout the Rotary year. Congratulations to Director Robert Barquilla and Public Image Chair Marvin Soco for receiving this prestigious recognition, an affirmation of their passion, dedication, and invaluable contributions to the club.

Adding prestige to the celebration was the presence of District Governor Angel “Jong” Fernandez, fellow District 3860 officers, Rotary leaders, and 10 prospective new members, reflecting the club’s continued growth and vibrant future.

As the formal program concluded, the celebration continued with great food, lively music, and warm fellowship, reminding everyone that beyond the projects and recognitions, Rotary is ultimately about building lasting friendships and creating a family united by a common purpose.

Here’s to another year of inspiring leadership, meaningful service, and stronger fellowship. Together, we will continue to Unite for Good and Create more Lasting Impact.
