RC Cebu Fuente Holds 6th GMM Highlighting the Value of Protocol in Rotary

The Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente held its 6th General Membership Meeting at Casino Español, featuring a highly engaging talk on Protocol in Rotary delivered by District Officer Lolita Lomanta.

Protocol, as highlighted during the session, goes beyond mere formality. In Rotary, it represents respect, order, and harmony—qualities that ensure smooth fellowship, uphold cherished traditions, and empower members to serve with excellence.

Through her insights, District Officer Lomanta reminded members that protocol is not restrictive but rather foundational, allowing every Rotarian to engage with dignity, purpose, and unity. Her message reinforced how structure and respect strengthen the bonds of Rotary, ultimately amplifying the club’s capacity to live out its motto: Service Above Self.

The evening also provided members with the opportunity to reflect on how practicing protocol within the club translates into stronger collaboration, greater inclusivity, and more effective community service. It was a timely reminder that discipline in fellowship is what fuels collective impact.

The 6th GMM proved not only to be an avenue for learning but also an affirmation of the values that make Rotary an enduring force for good.
