RC Baguio Higlands Celebrates a Joyful Turnover of Leadership: A Celebration of Service and Unity

In a meaningful and memorable ceremony, the Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands marked the turnover of leadership with the symbolic passing of the baton from Immediate Past President (IPP) Eric Bernardez to incoming President Ponciano "Jun" Valdez, Jr. The event was not only a change in leadership but a celebration of commitment, unity, and continued service. Members gathered in high spirits, reflecting on the club’s accomplishments and looking forward to a new Rotary Year filled with purpose and passion.



A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the leaders and members who poured their time and effort into ensuring the success of the RCBH turnover ceremonies. The event stood as a testament to the club’s dedication to service and fellowship. Special recognition was given to IPP Eric Bernardez for his outstanding leadership, unwavering dedication, and selfless service to the ideals and objects of Rotary. His term was marked by impactful projects and strengthened collaboration among members, setting a high standard for the club moving forward.


As the gavel was officially handed over, President Jun Valdez delivered a remarkable acceptance speech, sharing his gratitude and vision for RY 2025–2026. His heartfelt words resonated with the members, inspiring continued enthusiasm and commitment to Rotary's mission. His leadership promises to build upon the solid foundation laid by his predecessor, with renewed energy and inclusive teamwork.


Everybody happy! It was, by many accounts, one of the most joyful turnover yet—a night filled with smiles, laughter, and celebration. From the flawless program flow to the lively fellowship, the atmosphere was vibrant and warm. Truly, job well done, IPP Eric, and best wishes to President Jun as he leads RCBH into another year of service above self.
