RC Baguio Highlands Welcomes New President at 7th Induction and 6th Anniversary

Baguio City, Philippines – August 21, 2025. The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands (RCBH) celebrated a significant milestone with its 7th Induction and 6th Anniversary Ceremonies at Amber Hall, Hotel Supreme. The night was filled with fellowship, joy, and the spirit of service, with dignitaries from Rotary International District 3790, club officers, members, and numerous guests in attendance.

The highlight of the celebration was the formal introduction and induction of Ponciano Valdez, Jr. as the new President of RCBH. Surrounded by his family, fellow Rotarians, and supporters, President Valdez pledged to lead the club with dedication, guided by Rotary’s ideals of Service Above Self and this year’s theme, “Unite for Good.” His inaugural address inspired members to strengthen fellowship while working on impactful projects for the community.

The program also featured the induction of new members, the presentation of the 2025–2026 Board of Directors and Officers, and meaningful anniversary traditions, including the lighting of candles and cutting of the anniversary cake. The ceremonies closed with fellowship, celebrating both achievements and the renewed commitment of RCBH to create lasting change in society.

The night concluded with fellowship, music, and celebration—marking not just another milestone in the club’s history, but also the beginning of another year of meaningful service to the community and beyond.
