The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands (RCBH), in partnership with the Rotary Club of Koronadal (RC Koronadal) conducted a medical outreach activity aimed at strengthening community health services for children in Baguio City.
The outreach was held on January 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM in Barangay Philam, Baguio City, bringing together Rotary volunteers and healthcare partners to provide timely and responsive support to young beneficiaries. The collaboration highlighted Rotary’s continuing commitment to accessible healthcare, particularly for vulnerable communities and families with limited access to medical resources.
A key component of the activity was the distribution of 128 units of nebulizers to beneficiaries from various barangays, which helped address respiratory needs and improved home-based care. The donation benefited families whose children and adults required breathing support, especially during periods when cough, colds, and other respiratory concerns were prevalent.
In addition, medical consultations for children aged 18 and below and adults were conducted by volunteer doctors to assess general health status and identify immediate concerns. Essential medicines—maintenance medicines for hypertension and diabetes, including those for cough, colds, fever, and vitamins—were also provided to address urgent health needs and promote overall wellness among the young beneficiaries.
