On August 15, 2025, the Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands partnered with Pusong
Ride Guardian Emergency Network (PRGEN) in a heartfelt outreach program at Dalican Elementary School and Dalican National High School. The joint effort was aimed at supporting the holistic needs of young learners, ensuring that they are better equipped for both their academic and personal growth.
A total of 164 learners benefitted from the activity, receiving food packs, medical supplies, school materials, and hygiene kits. These provisions were carefully prepared to not only support their health and well-being but also to ease the burden on families, especially as the new school year begins. Each learner carried home not just supplies, but also a renewed sense of care from their community.
In addition, the Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands and PRGEN provided 15 gallons of clean water containers for classroom use.
This simple yet essential donation reinforces the importance of access to clean water for the students’ daily needs and contributes to maintaining a healthier and more conducive learning environment.
This collaboration stands as a testament to what can be achieved when organizations work hand in hand for a common cause. As Rotarians, we continue to embody our guiding principle of “Service Above Self”, and with our partners in PRGEN, we bring to life our call to “Unite for Good.” Together, we strive to empower the youth, uplift schools, and strengthen communities, one project at a time.
