RC Baguio Highlands Holds First Board Meeting for Rotary Year 2025–2026

The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands successfully conducted its first Regular Board of Directors (BOD) Meeting for Rotary Year 2025–2026 at Little Café.

Led by President Ponciano G. Valdez, Jr., the session gathered the newly elected officers and directors to align on policies, goals, and service plans. The meeting laid the foundation for the club’s strategic direction, reaffirming their commitment to the Rotary motto, “Unite for Good.”

A major highlight was the presentation and approval of project plans under Rotary International’s Seven Areas of Focus. Each director was assigned to lead monthly programs, covering Peacebuilding, Maternal and Child Health, Basic Education, Environment, and more. Club uniforms were also discussed and approved, and a monthly attire guideline was established.

Additionally, the upcoming Cluster Kickoff Project was announced. Other matters included the formation of an Awards Committee, financial sustainability initiatives and a Global Grant Project for 11 schools. Upcoming events and leadership transitions were announced, and officers were reminded of their administrative duties and commitment to attract new members.

The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands stands prepared to serve with renewed purpose this Rotary Year.
