The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands (RCBH) successfully conducted its 2nd General Membership Meeting on January 23, 2026, with the timely theme "Maternal and Child Care." The meeting brought together club members in a meaningful fellowship focused on one of Rotary's Areas of Focus—promoting the health and well-being of mothers and children through education, awareness, and service.
The highlight of the meeting was an inspiring presentation by Dr. Jose Ursua, a respected Obstetrician-Gynecologist, who shared valuable insights on maternal and child health, emphasizing the importance of quality female diseases, prenatal care, safe motherhood, and the crucial role of healthcare professionals and communities in ensuring healthy outcomes for both mothers and children. His expertise encouraged Rotarians to continue supporting initiatives that improve access to quality healthcare and strengthen family wellness.
Beyond his medical profession, Dr. Ursua is a dedicated community leader and the Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Baguio. His unwavering commitment to service and leadership embodies the true spirit of Rotary. The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Ursua for generously sharing his knowledge and inspiring members to create lasting impact through compassionate service and meaningful community engagement.
