RC Aseana Manila Promotes Climate Resilience and Food Security at Subic Naval Base

The Rotary Club of Aseana Manila, in coordination with PN LT Alvin O. Narvadez, recently held a #ClimateResilience Talk inside the Subic Naval Base, focusing on the critical role of #FoodSupport in sustaining our armed forces—especially in times of war and crisis.

The discussion underscored that access to proper nutrition and a stable food supply is not just about sustenance, but about national security and resilience. It is essential for:

  • Sustaining combat readiness and physical endurance

  • Strengthening morale and mental well-being of our defenders

  • Preventing illness and reducing non-combat casualties

  • Addressing logistical challenges during wartime and emergencies

By integrating climate resilience and food security into military preparedness, we reinforce both our environmental responsibility and our commitment to safeguard the welfare of our defenders.

This initiative is part of our continuing mission to support sustainable solutions that protect people, communities, and the nation.

Stay tuned for our upcoming #TreePlanting Activity inside the Naval Base—another step toward a greener, more resilient future.
