Promoting Basic Education & Literacy Through Speech & Language Development

Rotary’s commitment to Basic Education & Literacy goes beyond the classroom—it extends to empowering future professionals who can transform lives through communication.

Today, we were honored to host esteemed Speakers from Rotaplast International Speech Team, led by Speech Pathologist Marlene Salas-Provance, along with SP Ivonne Maldonado Dela Rosa, SP Maria Adenis Centeno, SP Clinician Berenice Adame, and SP Clinician Andrea Ledesma. These experts provided invaluable lectures and insights to the Speech & Language Pathology (SLP) Class of Cebu Doctors University, NRA, Mandaue City.

This initiative aligns with Rotary’s Area of Focus on Basic Education & Literacy, as effective communication is a fundamental pillar of learning and personal growth.

By equipping future speech pathologists with knowledge and skills, we help build a world where every child has the opportunity to speak, learn, and thrive.

A huge thank you to our speakers, organizers, and students for making this learning session impactful! Together, we continue to create #TheMagicOfRotary in transforming lives through education.
