"A journey of faith, unity, and purpose that turned dreams into milestones."
Philippine Rotary Magazine Awards Night, July 17, 2024
Some victories are loud. Ours was quiet — but deeply felt.
After the applause faded and the lights dimmed, we chose to wait. Not because the moment didn’t matter — but because it meant so much more.
Tonight, we write not just as winners of 14 major awards, but as servants of purpose, partners in perseverance, and witnesses to grace. We are District 3860 — humbled, grateful, and still in awe of what God has allowed us to accomplish together.
We never dreamed we’d sweep almost all the top honors in the Philippine Rotary Magazine (PRM) Awards Night. From the Overall Excellence Award, Most Outstanding District, Most Outstanding District Governor, to both Most Outstanding District Governor Representatives for PRM, and more — each accolade became a testament not to perfection, but to unity, heart, and divine guidance.
This journey wasn’t easy. It wasn’t always smooth. But it was intentional, sincere, and anchored in faith.
With joy and humility, we give thanks:
To our ever-supportive Governor Caroline Lee Andrade — your faith in us pushed us further than we imagined.
To DES Jonathan Tse, and our guiding light, PastDGR-PRM Arnold Manaday Nicolas — thank you for believing and mentoring us.
To the ever-patient and tireless PRM Office Manager , Nelson Lluz and the Philippine Rotary Magazine officers — your guidance made all the difference.
To all our Assistant Governors, Club Presidents, and Secretaries — thank you for embracing our persistent follow-ups, subscription drives, and editorial revisions. You made these awards possible.
To the 101 clubs of District 3860 — your trust, your articles, your commitment breathed life into every page.
To those who covered us in prayer and lifted us in love — this triumph is as much yours as it is ours.
This is not just a celebration of awards. It is a quiet offering back to the God who called us to serve. It is a remembrance that with faith and community, the impossible becomes possible.
To my partner and co-DGR-PRM, Ricky Enrique Andres — our journey was not just a working partnership, it was a divine alignment. I couldn’t have asked for a more steadfast, passionate, and prayerful teammate. What we accomplished, we did together — led by purpose, and held by grace.
Together, we received:
5 awards each as DGR-PRMs
3 awards for our beloved District Governor
Best Writer Award for RC Port Center
Overall Excellence Award
Most Outstanding District
Most Outstanding District Governor – Caroline Lee Andrade
Most Outstanding District Governor Reps – Enrique Andres and yours truly
In total — 14 unforgettable recognitions, all belonging not to us, but to every Rotarian of District 3860. We bested 9 other districts in the country, but this victory wasn’t about being better — it was about being united, collaborative, and driven by love.
A thousand thank yous still wouldn’t be enough. But we say them anyway — with full hearts and lifted hands.
To God be all the glory.
