International Service Mission: Sharing With Heart, Sharing With Purpose

On July 7, 2025, the Rotary Club of Villa de Bacolor carried out its International Service mission titled “Sharing With Heart, Sharing With Purpose” at Bodeum Nursing Home in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The project provided care and companionship to 45 elderly beneficiaries, with a total budget of $2,000 USD. The mission focused on fostering compassion and strengthening international fellowship through meaningful service beyond national borders.


The delegation was led by President Grace Datu and composed of 18 members representing the club and district. Participants included PP Eduardo Datu, PDG Jess Sama, PP Grace Sama, PP Percival Panopio, Rtn Maricel Panopio, PP Noel Mercado, Rtn Rose Mercado, PP Marilou Mallari, Rtn Alex Mallari, PP Ma Elena Tullao, PP Jerry Tullao, Rtn Leonora Nicdao, Rtn Anita Sunga, Rtn Rosana Matic, Rtn Rhemz Sese David, Director Mimi Lee, and Rotaract President Daryl Sama.



This initiative reflects the Rotary Club of Villa de Bacolor’s commitment to “Service Above Self” on a global scale. By reaching out to elderly residents in South Korea, the club demonstrated that compassion transcends borders and that meaningful service can build stronger connections between cultures and communities.
