Inspiring Journeys, Ilocana Pride Highlight 4th Regular Meeting
The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union held its 4th Regular Meeting on August 11, 2026, bringing together Rotarians for an afternoon of fellowship, learning, and inspiration. More than a regular gathering, the meeting became an opportunity to celebrate stories of perseverance, excellence, and service as the Club continues its journey under the Rotary International theme “Create Lasting Impact.”
Adding inspiration to the occasion were guest speakers Ilocana Pride, Ms. Patricia Anne Nichole Bangug, Miss Philippines- Fire 2026 and First Miss Orient Tourism Global 2025, and Ms. Anjali C. Pradeep Kumar, Binibining Philippines 2026 - Top 12 who shared their experiences and insights from their respective journeys in the national pageant stage. Their presence brought a different kind of spotlight to the meeting—one that went beyond crowns and titles and focused on confidence, resilience, and the courage to represent oneself and one’s roots with pride.
Their pageant stints demonstrated that the road to the national stage is built not only on talent and preparation, but also on determination and the ability to rise above challenges. Their stories resonated with Rotarians, reminding everyone that success is rarely an overnight achievement. Like service, it requires commitment, discipline, and the willingness to continue even when the path becomes difficult.
The speakers’ stories also complemented the Club’s own pursuit of meaningful service. Just as a pageant platform can become an avenue for advocacy and representation, Rotary provides its members with a platform to turn ideas into action and transform service into lasting impact. Their message encouraged Rotarians to recognize the influence they have—not only within the Club, but also in thecommunities they serve.
