Honoring ICP AKS Elmer Bermil Espinosa A.K.A GARUDA
A LEGACY OF GENEROSITY AND SERVICE
The Rotary Club of Mabini Manila takes immense pride in honoring ICP AKS Elmer Espinosa, whose journey in Rotary, though less than a year, has already reflected an extraordinary commitment to Service Above Self.
From the moment he embraced Rotary, ICP Elmer quickly understood that The Rotary Foundation is one of Rotary’s greatest instruments for changing lives and creating lasting impact around the world. With this conviction, he made the meaningful decision to become an Arch Klumph Society donor—a commitment that represents not only generosity, but a lasting belief in Rotary’s humanitarian mission.
Through conversations with District Governor Maria Rosa “Bing” Carrion and PDG Joyce Ambray, he gained a deeper appreciation of the tremendous possibilities that The Rotary Foundation and the Arch Klumph Society can provide, particularly in supporting Rotary’s historic mission to End Polio and other global humanitarian initiatives.
A successful entrepreneur with interests in a security agency, a law firm, and other businesses, ICP Elmer has chosen to share his blessings beyond his professional success. His heart is drawn toward those who need help most.
His first months as a Rotarian have already been marked by remarkable action— with almost 3,000 beneficiaries in his various medical missions like the distribution of 500 school bags, feeding programs, tree planting, mobile X-ray medical services, relief operations, hygiene programs for children, district seminars, fellowship with sister clubs, and collaborative projects with Rotarians from other districts.
His commitment to service has also inspired his family. He encouraged his wife to become part of the Rotary family, and she was inducted during the District 3810 Handover and Induction Ceremonies on July 11, 2026.
What distinguishes ICP Elmer is not simply the number of projects he supports, but the heart behind his service. He gives his time, resources, influence, and energy because he believes that those who have been blessed have an opportunity—and a responsibility—to bless others.
A Commitment That Lives Beyond One Generation
Membership in the Arch Klumph Society is a lifelong recognition of extraordinary commitment to The Rotary Foundation. It symbolizes a Rotarian’s belief that generosity can transcend borders, transform communities, and touch lives that may never be personally known.
AKS members become part of a distinguished legacy of Rotarians whose generosity helps make Rotary’s worldwide humanitarian work possible. Their portraits are also honored in the Arch Klumph Society Gallery, creating a lasting tribute to their commitment to Rotary’s mission.
Today, the Rotary Club of Mabini Manila proudly celebrates ICP AKS Elmer Espinosa—not only as a successful businessman, but as a true Rotarian whose heart is dedicated to humanity.
His Rotary journey may have begun less than a year ago, but the impact of his service is already being felt by many.
May his generosity inspire others. May his service continue to grow. And may his legacy remind us that the greatest success is not measured by what we accumulate, but by the lives we are able to touch.
Congratulations, ICP AKS Elmer Bermil Espinosa A.K.A GARUDA!
Your generosity strengthens The Rotary Foundation. Your service strengthens Rotary. And your heart for humanity strengthens the world. Service Above Self.
