Happy and Healthy With Connie - Unting For Good

When Rotary unites, more lives are reached—bringing hope, healing, and compassionate care to those who need it most.

In November 2025, the Rotary Club of Rizal Mideast demonstrated how meaningful partnerships can grow into powerful movements—expanding from a collaborative effort into a united, multi-club initiative serving communities in need.

Carried out under the banner “Happy & Healthy with Connie—Uniting for Good,” the medical and dental missions were led by Connie Sison of Pinoy MD, alongside her GMA Social Media Team and family. The Rotary Club of Rizal Mideast proudly partnered in this initiative, mobilizing support, volunteers, and resources to help bring accessible healthcare to underserved communities.

The first mission, held on November 8, 2025, at Kabisig Elementary School in Cainta, served over 300 beneficiaries through free medical consultations, dental services, and the distribution of essential medicines. Volunteer doctors and nurses from St. Luke's Medical Center BGC, Makati Medical Center, The Medical City, and Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center, together with partners such as I Am Well, the Philippine Heart Association, and the Philippine Dental Association Rizal Chapter, delivered quality and compassionate care.

Beyond routine consultations, the mission identified critical health conditions, including patients with dangerously high blood pressure and one emergency case requiring immediate hospital referral—underscoring the life-saving importance of early detection and timely intervention.

Building on the impact of this partnership, the initiative expanded. On November 29, 2025, a second mission was conducted in Libis, Quezon City—this time as a broader, multi-club collaboration involving:

Rotary Club of Rizal Mideast

Rotary Club of Antipolo East

Rotary Club of East Rizal

Rotary Club of Paraiso ng Rizal

Rotary Club of Antipolo City

Rotary Club of Rizal Premier

Rotary Club of Antipolo Centro

Rotary Club of Tres Escalon Taytay

Rotary Club of Suburban East Rizal

Rotary Club of Rizal Centro

Rotaract Club of Rizal Mideast

Interact Club of Antipolo East

Together, they once again served over 300 beneficiaries. Due to the overwhelming turnout, volunteer doctors extended their services beyond the scheduled closing time to ensure that every patient received care. Services included dental cleaning and extractions, as well as eye screenings, which drew significant demand.

Medical teams from Delos Santos Medical Center and Fatima University Medical Center, along with Urban Smiles, the Philippine Dental Association Quezon City Chapter, and Ideal Vision, provided dedicated and compassionate service.

Both missions were made possible through the generous support of partners, including Unilab (RiteMed), Pharex, Rachmed Pharmacy, Ifern, and Amacor Trading, alongside numerous volunteers and donors who contributed food, medicines, and logistical support. Local government units and community partners also played a vital role in ensuring smooth and organized operations.

Through partnership and shared purpose, what began as a collaborative effort grew into a united movement—demonstrating that when Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact work together, their impact multiplies across communities.

More than delivering healthcare, these missions reflect Rotary’s enduring commitment to Service Above Self. By uniting strengths and working hand in hand with community leaders and partners, Rotary continues to bring hope, healing, and meaningful change to those who need it most.

This is Rotary in action—People of Action 💙—ensuring that no one is left behind.
