Flowing of Hope: Potable Water for Daan Banwang, Upper Labay Community

For 24 years, the Indigenous community of Daan Banwang, Upper Labay, has struggled with limited access to clean water. Today, that long wait is finally over! The Rotary Club of Dadiangas, by the support of The Rotary Foundation through District Grant, has successfully turned over a fully operational water facility—complete with a water tank and a reliable water source—bringing hope and relief to the entire community.

The turnover ceremony was a momentous occasion, attended by residents, students, parents, teachers, barangay officials, and dedicated Rotarians who worked together to make this project a reality. The overwhelming joy and gratitude of the people reflected the deep impact of this initiative, as they no longer have to endure the hardships of water scarcity.

This is the power of service and community—where kindness, dedication, transform lives. Together, we create lasting change!
