The Rotary Club of Rodriguez Central (RCRC) completed its District Grant Project on March 17, 2026. CP Mira, Club Admin Chair Des, Stewardship Officer Tess, and Rtn. Diana, together with Dr. Edna Bamaga, the School Principal, participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony. The Interact Club of Commonwealth High-Rodriguez Central, and some students and teachers of KOMHAY likewise joined the ceremony.
Bearing in mind that computers are now essential tools in the lives of students, RCRC converted the conventional library of KOMHAY into an E-Library using the fund received from an approved District Grant. A long table, three (3) complete sets of computers inclusive of software, and curtains were handed over to the School Principal, IT Department Head, and Property Custodian of KOMHAY. About 9,000 Junior and Senior High School students will benefit from this project.
To ensure the sustainability of this E-Library project, RCRC through CP Mira, Dr. Edna Bañaga, Argel Pascua, and John Patrick Lazatin, KOMHAY's Principal, IT Head, and Property Custodian, respectively, signed a Memorandum of Agreement. In the MOA, the School through the IT Department undertakes to perform regular software maintenance, physical cleaning, and installing of an anti-virus system.
Together, let's Unite for Good, promote collaboration, adapt to change, and build a better world!
