The District Team Learning Seminar (DTLS) 2026 gathered key leaders of the Rotary District 3790 on April 18, 2026 at Aureo Resort in San Fernando, La Union, reinforcing its commitment to preparing a capable and aligned leadership team for the Rotary Year 2026–2027. The seminar served as a vital platform for equipping district officers, committee chairs, and club representatives with the knowledge and direction needed to strengthen service delivery and organizational effectiveness.
A key highlight of the morning session was the leadership message of District Governor-Elect Ronald Dy, who emphasized that the success of the district depends on collective effort and shared responsibility. His message encouraged leaders to focus on potential rather than challenges, reinforcing confidence in the district’s ability to rise above obstacles through unity and teamwork.
Further enriching the program were specialized learning sessions led by district facilitators and speakers. Past Dostrict Governor (PDG) Dindo Ocampo Berino delivered an insightful discussion on membership growth, stressing that expanding Rotary’s reach is a shared responsibility. The learning sessions were guided by District Learning Facilitator, Past President (PP) Armando "Boc" Bonifacio on highlighting the shift from individual roles to results-driven collaboration across all levels of leadership. PP Lorna Regala facilitated the goal-setting session using Rotary Club Central, while PP Joy Flores guided participants on maximizing resources through My Rotary. Meanwhile, PP Virgil Garcia led an engaging team-building activity that emphasized collaboration, problem-solving, and unity in action.
The seminar also featured key district presentations, including the announcement of goals and priorities for the upcoming Rotary year led by Deputy Chief of Staff, PP Don Ting. His presentation outlined strategic focus areas on membership, Rotary Foundation, governance, service, and recognition—providing a clear roadmap aligned with DGE Ronald Dy’s vision of purposeful and impactful service.
As DTLS 2026 concluded, participants left equipped with practical tools, renewed motivation, and a stronger sense of unity. The seminar successfully reinforced the district’s direction toward a more collaborative and impact-driven Rotary year, ensuring that leaders are ready to transform plans into action and service into lasting change across communities.
