In a meaningful step toward supporting holistic education, the Rotary Club of Antipolo East successfully turned over its District Grant Project, “Educational Support to Learners”, at Libis
Elementary School, San Ysiro, Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City, on March 17, 2026.
Funded through the District Grant of Rotary District 3800 under The Rotary Foundation, this initiative brings to life a newly improved and redesigned Student Learning and Wellness Room, a multi-purpose space that combines a library, guidance corner, and clinic in one room. The room is designed to support not only students’ academic growth but also their emotional well-being and basic health needs, while allowing them to enjoy the space fully and be inspired to learn, explore, and grow.
This project reflects Rotary’s commitment to investing in education and uplifting communities, helping young learners grow and thrive both inside and outside the classroom. By creating a space where students can read, study, seek guidance, and receive care, the club contributes to building a stronger foundation for their future.
The Rotary Club of Antipolo East extends its sincere appreciation to President Maria Cristina Rodriguez and Service Projects Chair PN Ani Ong for their leadership and dedication in making this project possible, along with the members who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Through the continued support of CP Larry Secreto to The Rotary Foundation, the club continues to implement meaningful and sustainable District Grants projects. The club also expresses its heartfelt gratitude to District Governor Gina Sanchez and District Grand Chair PP Pilar Lee for their invaluable guidance and support.
The turnover ceremony was attended by school officials led by Principal Melvin B. Canotal, together with teachers, club members, and spouses, all coming together to celebrate this
special milestone.
As the Student Learning and Wellness Room opens its doors, it stands not just as a facility but as a symbol of hope, care, and a brighter future for every learner it will serve.
Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Antipolo East. Through unity and service, the club continues to create a simple yet meaningful space where every learner feels supported, cared
for, and inspired to reach their full potential.
