Rotary International District 3790, under the leadership of District Governor Ariel Jersey, successfully held its Year-End Review 2025 at the San Fernando Champions Community in Santiago, San Fernando City, La Union.
The event, hosted by the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU), drew a record 896 attendees from clubs across the district. More than 1,700 awards were presented, recognizing the unwavering commitment of clubs, district officers, and individual Rotarians to service and excellence throughout the Rotary Year.
The program officially opened with a Parade of Presidents and Dignitaries, followed by the Call to Order by DG Ariel Jersey. Welcome remarks were delivered by President Gabby Go, with Past President Albert Dy acknowledging the guests and participants. DGN Ronald S. Dy, serving as the Event Chair, presented the program overview.
DG Ariel Jersey delivered his Valedictory Address reflecting on the year’s milestones, following a presentation titled “The Year That Was.” PDG Digna Ragasa, Chair of the Awards Committee, also shared a message highlighting the integrity and rigor behind the awards process.
The awarding ceremonies were conducted in three parts:
Part 1: Citation and Appreciation Awards for District Officers, led by PP Fred Lao;
Part 2: Club and Rotarian Citation Awards, led by PP Titanium Andin;
Part 3: Major Awards, led by PP Gigi Tesoro Ramos.
One of the most anticipated highlights of the evening was the recognition of the Most Outstanding Clubs per category:
Small Club: Rotary Club of Metro Olongapo
Medium Club: Rotary Club of Metro San Fernando La Union
Large Club: Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union, recognized for the sixth time as a Hall of Fame awardee
The ceremony also featured a Turnover Ceremony marking the transition from DG Ariel Jersey to incoming District Governor Danilo Torres. The formal program concluded with closing messages, the singing of the Rotary Hymn, and was followed by dinner, fellowship, and raffle draws.
The Year-End Review 2025 not only honored exemplary performance but also celebrated the spirit of “Service Above Self” — a fitting conclusion to a Rotary year lived with purpose, impact, and the magic of Rotary.
