Last March 24, 2026, the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) collaborated with Creative Child Learning Center and Autism Hearts Philippines for the “Colors Beyond Awareness: An Art Exhibition” by the AUsome children! The event was more than just a gallery—it was a celebration of unique perspectives and the beautiful, diverse ways we see the world. By coming together, we support a mission of inclusion, understanding, and empowerment.
A Kit Bag of Hope was generously provided by the Kiwanis Club of Kalibo led by Pres. Wayne Malilay, filled with essentials to brighten their day, and Customized Aprons gifted by the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo led by Pres. Nora Helber-Maming, perfect for messy, wonderful days spent creating more Masterpieces! Approximately 30 children took advantage of the free offerings and created paintings for both display and sale.
The event was further graced by Rotarian and LGU Kalibo Vice Mayor Phillip Y. Kimpo, who delivered a moving inspirational message. His words emphasized the power of inclusion and the vital importance of supporting our local artists and their unique contributions to Aklan.
Other partners were Museo It Akean, CityMall Kalibo, Aklan, and media partners - Kalibo Cable Television Network, Inc. , Love Radio and Akeanon News Publishing Services.
The exhibition ran until March 31, 2026, celebrating the colors that make our community so vibrant!
