Cluster 2A Service Projects

Cluster 2A of Rotary International, District 3790 (Rotary Year 2025–2026) is led by District

Governor Danilo Philip R. Torres, with Assistant Governor Odree Merl Marie M. Padios. The Cluster leadership team also includes Cluster Secretary Past President Georgie C. Oris and Cluster Treasurer Rotarian Jennifer S. Marquez.


Cluster 2A is composed of three clubs: the Rotary Club of Urdaneta, headed by President Jesus A. Fajardo; the Rotary Club of Urdaneta North, led by President Bren M. Roll; and the Rotary Club of Urdaneta East, led by President Juan Carlos F. Jaranilla.



For its cluster-wide initiatives, Cluster 2A launched its Kick-Off Project, “Handog ng D3790 sa mga Kabataan,” held on July 1, 2025, at San Jose Elementary School, Barangay San Jose, Urdaneta City. The cluster also participated in the District 3790 13th Bike Ride to End Polio, where it hosted lunch for the Rotary Club of Vigan and the Vigan Cycling Maniacs. On February 21, 2026, Cluster 2A successfully hosted the PolioPlus Banquet at Levo Hotel, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.


The Rotary Club of Urdaneta implemented service projects aligned with Rotary’s seven areas of focus. Under Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention, the club conducted a Spiritual Guidance Talk and Inspirational Message, along with the distribution of food packs and hygiene kits at BJMP Anonas. It also organized lectures on anti-bullying in Barangay Cabaruan and on Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) in Barangay Nancalobasaan, Urdaneta City. For Disease Prevention and Treatment, the club held

Zumba activities in partnership with RCC Nancalobasaan and conducted bloodletting activities in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross Pangasinan Chapter – Urdaneta City Branch. Under Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene, a handwashing facility was installed at Cabaruan Day Care Center on October 28, 2025. For Maternal and Child Health, hygiene kits were distributed, while Basic Education and Literacy efforts included Project 3Rs (Read, Write, Arithmetic) at Anonas East Elementary School, Urdaneta City, conducted from September 26, 2025 to present. Under Community Economic Development, the club implemented “One Mission, One Community, One Nation” on March 15, 2026, in partnership with community groups in Battut, Rizal, Cagayan, providing donations to residents in need. For Environment, the club conducted a Coastal Clean-Up Drive, “Sea the Change,” and a tree-planting

activity in San Fabian, Pangasinan on September 28, 2025. In terms of Public Image, the Rotary Club of Urdaneta published its 50th Charter Anniversary, Formal Turnover, and Induction Ceremonies Coffee Table Book, which was released on August 30, 2025.



The Rotary Club of Urdaneta North focused on Basic Education and Literacy, conducting trainings and seminars on workers’ rights through safety awareness programs. These included the mandatory eight-hour Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) training and OSH awareness sessions for employees and students, conducted from July 1, 2025 to present.


Meanwhile, the Rotary Club of Urdaneta East implemented various service projects in partnership with “Orammysmo” from July 1, 2025 to present. These included Disease Prevention and Treatment initiatives such as oral polio vaccination, dental examinations, and fluoride varnish application across barangays in Urdaneta City. Under Basic Education and Literacy, the club conducted lectures on proper dental care, while Environment efforts included clean-up drives. For Public Image, the Rotary Club of Urdaneta East participated in the Urdaneta City Fiesta 2025, showcasing the Rotary Wheel through the Electric Parade

of Lights held on December 6, 2025, in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.
