Clean Hands, Healthy Futures for Heritage Home Integrated School

Sometimes the right projects find us in the simplest way. While looking for a place that
could use a new wash station, we came across Heritage Home Integrated School. We
learned they needed more handwashing facilities for their students, and right away, it
felt like the perfect match for our WASH initiative.
On July 21, 2025, we visited the school and had a warm conversation with the principal.
We talked about the children, the challenges they face, and how something as simple
as a wash station can make their days healthier and brighter. By the end of that
meeting, we had agreed to move forward together and signed a Memorandum of
Agreement.
For the students, this will mean cleaner hands before meals, better hygiene after play,
and a healthier school environment.
For us, it is another reminder of why Rotary continues to invest in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene — because good health opens the door for children to learn, grow, and dream bigger.
We are excited to begin this project and even more excited to see the smiles it will
bring. And while this story is about one school, we know there are many more that could
benefit. With more friends, partners, and sponsors joining us, this ripple of change can
reach far beyond Marilao.
