Breakfast For A Cause Rallies Support For End Polio Now Campaign

The Rotary Club of Pasig Premier successfully held its recent Breakfast For a Cause, a fundraising event dedicated to supporting Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign, on November 29, 2025 at the Club Filipino.

The gathering brought together club members, partners, and community supporters in a shared mission to help eradicate polio worldwide.

During the event, Good President Lucila  Shiela Pielago highlighted Rotary’s ongoing commitment to global polio eradication and emphasized the importance of sustained community involvement.

Funds raised will directly support vaccination programs and awareness initiatives aimed at protecting vulnerable children from the debilitating disease.

RC Pasig Premier has been reflecting deeply on how it can create novel fundraising activities that do not just support Rotary's Causes, but also strengthen its bonds with its non-Rotarian friends and partners. Many of them have only seen Rotary through Facebook posts and public image efforts—but this time, they finally got to experience Rotary in action through this event. And at last, the club's Rotarian friends met its non-Rotarian friends. What a beautiful connection.

The gathering was honored by the presence of prominent district officials, including Past District Governor Bobby Tanyag, Assistant Governor Sarah Canlas, and several Good Presidents from neighboring clubs.

RC-Pasig Premier was represented by PE/Secretary Eve Dumlao, Program Host Rochelle Bernardino, Sps. Directors Jun and Lorena Real, Treasurer Roselle Magpantay, and Rtn. Marlon Parane.  PP Atty. Cynthia Roxas was represented by her daughter Cara Roxas.
