Bike to Work Project

In celebration of the founding anniversary of Rotary International, now designated as World Understanding and Peace Day, the Rotary Club of Rizal Premier successfully conducted its flagship project, “Bike to Work.”

Led by its Good President, Veronica Atienza, the club formally handed over six (6) bicycles to deserving beneficiaries from San Jose National High School in Antipolo City.

The meaningful event was also attended and supported by PP Dondi Malsi, Ma Bonnie Corranes, SPTA President, and Anna Lyn Raymundo, Principal of San Jose National High School, whose leadership and commitment to the students greatly contributed to the success of the activity.

The recipients are hardworking working students who strive to balance their studies while earning a living. Among them are students selling flowers, cooking and selling sisig, and engaging in buy-and-sell activities to support their education and families. The bicycles will significantly ease their daily commute, reduce transportation expenses, and allow them to dedicate more time and energy to their academic pursuits.

Now in its 6th year, the Bike to Work program remains the flagship initiative of the Rotary Club of Rizal Premier. The project reflects Rotary’s enduring commitment to Service Above Self—aiming not only to provide transportation but also to uplift lives, empower the youth, and create meaningful opportunities for a brighter future.

Through this initiative, the club continues to promote hope, resilience, and peace in the community—living out Rotary’s mission of fostering understanding and making a lasting difference in people’s lives.
