Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong Urges Rotarians to Uphold Integrity and the 4-Way Test at Cluster 1B Intercity Meeting

Cluster 1B, composed of seven Rotary Clubs in La Union and led by Assistant Governor Dada Raquepo, successfully hosted an Intercity Meeting held at Thunderbird Resort, La Union in November 2025. The gathering brought together Rotarians in a meaningful exchange of ideas centered on ethical leadership, transparency, and public service.


The Guest Speaker of Honor, Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, shared his personal journey and steadfast commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability in government service. Drawing from his experiences in public office, he emphasized the importance of ethical leadership in building trust and driving meaningful change within communities.



As a Rotarian himself, Mayor Magalong highlighted the significance of the Rotary 4-Way Test as a guiding principle in both personal and professional decision-making. He encouraged fellow Rotarians to consistently uphold these values in their service, reminding them that true leadership is rooted in honesty, fairness, and responsibility.


His message resonated strongly with the audience, inspiring Rotarians to reaffirm their commitment to ethical service and good governance. The discussion underscored the vital role of Rotary in promoting integrity-driven leadership across all sectors of society.


The Intercity Meeting of Cluster 1B served not only as a fellowship gathering but also as a reaffirmation of Rotary’s core values.


Under the leadership of Assistant Governor Dada Raquepo, the event strengthened collaboration among the seven Rotary Clubs in La Union and reinforced their shared mission of “Service Above Self” guided by integrity and accountability.
