Tanay General Hospital Celebrates 10th Year of Bloodletting Activity with Rotary Club of Lakeshore Rizal
On November 29, 2025, Tanay General Hospital in Tanay, Rizal marked a significant milestone: the 10th year of its annual bloodletting activity, “Alay na Dugo Mula sa Puso.” This life-saving initiative brought together partners and volunteers under the banner of saving lives together, highlighting the enduring power of compassion and collaboration.
The Rotary Club of Lakeshore Rizal, which has been the hospital’s committed partner throughout all these bloodletting activities, proudly joined hands once again to commemorate this decade-long advocacy. The event was strengthened by the support of the Department of Health, the Philippine National Red Cross, the Rotaract Club of Lakeshore Rizal, and the Rotaract Club of Tomas Claudio Colleges, along with dedicated medical professionals, volunteers, and community members.
Every unit of blood collected symbolized hope and healing for patients in need, underscoring the shared mission of service above self. More than just a medical activity, the bloodletting embodied teamwork, compassion, and the unwavering commitment to save lives.
As Tanay General Hospital celebrated this 10-year journey, the Rotary Club of Lakeshore Rizal and its partners reaffirmed their dedication to sustaining this vital cause. “Alay na Dugo Mula sa Puso” stands as a shining example of how communities, when united, can create ripples of impact that extend far beyond the walls of the hospital — ensuring that the gift of life continues to flow for years to come.
