On July 11, 2026, Rotary International District 3810 celebrated a memorable and inspiring Handover and Induction Ceremonies at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila. The event marked the formal turnover of leadership from Outgoing District Governor Mary Mei V. Rodrigo to Incoming AKS/District Governor Maria Rosa Nieva “Bing” Carrion, together with the induction of the district’s United Chosen Presidents to Impact-Creating Presidents for Rotary Year 2026–2027.
The event was exceptionally organized—from the elegant venue and meticulously planned program to the outstanding performances and excellent cuisine. Every detail reflected the dedication and teamwork of the organizing committee, making the celebration truly worthy of the occasion.
The highlight of the evening was the inaugural address of District Governor Bing Carrion. What made her speech truly remarkable was its sincerity. She spoke from the heart without relying on a prepared script, making her message authentic, personal, and deeply inspiring.
Governor Bing reminded every club president that Rotary leadership is not simply about completing projects or holding a title. It is about loving the communities we serve, leading with integrity, and allowing the journey of service to transform us into better individuals. She encouraged every Impact-Creating President to complete their term not only with successful projects but as better leaders and better people, having made a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Her message beautifully reflected Rotary’s enduring motto, Service Above Self, and embodied the principles of the Four-Way Test—to seek the truth, be fair to all concerned, build goodwill and better friendships, and ensure that every action benefits everyone involved.
As her baby club, the Rotary Club of Aseana Manila takes immense pride in seeing one of its own rise to lead Rotary District 3810. Governor Bing’s journey is a source of inspiration to every member of the club. Under the leadership of Impact-Creating President Allyson Santos, the Rotary Club of Aseana Manila is committed to embracing and supporting Governor Bing’s vision by continuing to serve with compassion, integrity, excellence, and a genuine commitment to creating lasting impact in the communities we serve.
As Rotary District 3810 embarks on a new Rotary year, Governor Bing’s inspiring leadership sets the tone for a year rooted in compassion, integrity, fellowship, and meaningful service. May every Rotarian answer her call to lead with purpose, serve with humility, and truly live the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self.
