On July 26, 2025, compassion was transformed into action as the Rotary Club of Cebu South stood at the forefront of service by hosting the District Bloodletting Activity at Bondad Hall, AFP Visayas Command, Camp Lapu‑Lapu in Lahug, Cebu City. United with the Department of Health Region VII and the AFP Visayas Command, the Club helped bring hope to countless lives—one blood donation at a time.
More than a health initiative, the activity was a powerful expression of Rotary’s enduring mission: Service Above Self. Volunteers and donors came together with a shared purpose, answering the silent call of those in need and reinforcing the belief that saving lives begins with the willingness to give.
Through strong partnerships and the selfless spirit of its members, the Rotary Club of Cebu South once again demonstrated how collective action can strengthen communities and safeguard lives. Each donor became a quiet hero, each unit of blood a promise of survival, healing, and renewed hope.
As Rotary continues to build a culture of compassion and service, activities like this bloodletting remind us that the smallest act of generosity can create the greatest impact. Indeed, when Rotarians unite, lives are saved and humanity is uplifted.
