A Legacy of Service: President Alvin Ray Mari Dumuk Delivers Valedictory Address and Receives Leadership Award

With gratitude in his heart and pride in the accomplishments of the club, Outgoing President Alvin Ray Mari Dumuk delivered his valedictory address during the 68th Joint Induction Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of San Fernando (La Union), marking the successful conclusion of his term as Club President. Before fellow Rotarians, distinguished guests, family members, and partners, he reflected on a Rotary year characterized by dedicated service, meaningful partnerships, and a steadfast commitment to uplifting communities.

In his address, President Alvin expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Board of Directors, club officers, committee chairpersons, members, sponsors, and partner organizations whose unwavering support transformed the club's vision into reality.

He emphasized that every milestone achieved throughout the year was the product of teamwork, shared leadership, and the collective passion of Rotarians committed to Service Above Self. Looking back on the year's accomplishments, he reminded members that Rotary's true success is measured not by awards or accolades, but by the lives touched and the hope restored through selfless service.

The evening also became an occasion to honor President Alvin's outstanding leadership as he was presented with a Leadership Award in recognition of his exemplary service and significant contributions to the Rotary Club of San Fernando (La Union).

One of the ceremony's most symbolic moments was the formal turnover of leadership to Incoming President Remigio "Rem" Bonifacio III. Through the ceremonial passing of the gavel and symbols of office, President Alvin entrusted the stewardship of the club to his successor, signifying not an end, but the continuation of Rotary's enduring mission.
