Where Dreams Meet Possibilities: 3rd Tagum City Career Expo Inspires 2,739 Learners

Dreams took center stage as the 3rd Tagum City Career Expo officially unfolded at Robinsons Place Tagum on September 3–4, 2026, bringing together students, career hunters, educators, colleges, universities, organizations, and industry partners in a vibrant celebration of opportunities, talents, and possibilities.

With a total of 2,739 learners participating in the two-day event, the Career Expo became more than an exhibition of schools and career pathways. It served as a meeting place where young people could explore their aspirations, discover new opportunities, and begin building connections that could help shape their future.

This year’s Career Expo featured participating schools and exhibitors from Tagum City and Davao del Norte, Davao City, and even Luzon, creating a broader network of educational and career opportunities for learners. Institutional exhibits provided students with valuable information about courses, programs, skills development, employment possibilities, and different pathways toward their chosen professions.

Adding meaning to the gathering was the active support of the Rotary Club of Tagum North, which continues to champion initiatives that empower young people and promote education, leadership, and career development.

Representing the Rotary Club of Tagum North were President Robyn Niño D. Pereyras, PP Ronald S. Bordios, IPP Eduardo C. Dinglasan, Rtn. Jessa Lorena L. Baldonado, PN Lorena C. Lintuan, PAG Mae T. Dalisay, and PAG Arnold M. Nicolas. Their participation reflected the organization’s commitment to supporting programs that connect the youth with opportunities and inspire them to prepare confidently for the future.

But the second day of the event brought an entirely different kind of energy as the spotlight shifted from career exploration to creativity and performance through “Voices of Tomorrow.”

Held at Robinsons Place Tagum, the Inter-School Singing and Songwriting Competition transformed the venue into a stage for the remarkable talents of young artists. Students from participating schools showcased their powerful voices, original compositions, creativity, confidence, and passion for music.

For many of the young performers, the competition was not simply about winning. It was an opportunity to be heard, express themselves, inspire others, and demonstrate that the youth possess talents that deserve to be nurtured and celebrated.

The cheers from fellow students, teachers, parents, organizers, and career hunters added excitement to the performances as each school proudly supported its representatives. Through music and songwriting, the young participants demonstrated that education is not limited to classrooms it also creates spaces where creativity, courage, and self-expression can flourish.

The 3rd Tagum City Career Expo ultimately became a celebration of both career aspirations and youthful potential. With 2,739 learners participating, the event demonstrated the importance of providing young people with platforms where they can explore careers, discover institutions, build connections, and showcase their talents.

As the event concluded, one message resonated clearly: the future belongs to young people who are given opportunities to dream, discover, create, and lead.

The Career Expo opened doors, while “Voices of Tomorrow” gave young voices a stage. Together, they reminded the community that when opportunities and young talent come together, the possibilities for tomorrow are limitless.
