Who would have thought? That from the glittering city of Dubai, a generous wave of kindness would cross seas to embrace the children of Cebu?
Through the thoughtful initiative of Skills3 and the giving spirit of Ms. Carla Bygrave, handpicked school supplies—colorful bags, carefully crafted notebooks, tumblers, and educational essentials—made their way into the welcoming arms of the children at REACH Foundation – School for Children with Autism, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente led by DGR-PRM Maricel Borromeo Amores, PP Jun Torres, PP Jomar Ponce, Rotarian Jason Honrada.

It was more than a donation. It was a message: You matter. You are loved. You belong.
What made this effort even more meaningful was the unity behind it. RCCF spouses Tess Tesalona and Jenny Honrada , the spirited Rotaract Club of Cebu Fuente–University of the Visayas, and our committed partners like Fontis-ICAN Corp- Janet Borgonia & MD Borromeo came together—not for recognition, but to extend genuine care and shared humanity.
To RCCF Spouse Sandra Espina, whose heart beats strongly for children with autism—thank you for standing beside those who often stand alone. Your dedication brings light to families who long to be understood, and your voice continues to open doors to awareness and acceptance.
To Jo Murillo-Telford, kind-hearted owner of David Salon, your contribution of food packs and heartfelt presence made the celebration warm, welcoming, and deeply appreciated by the children, teachers, and facilitators of REACH.
Each item handed out that day wasn’t just a school supply—it was a seed of encouragement. A reminder that across continents and cultures, Rotary’s compassion finds a way to reach those who need it most.
This is The Magic of Rotary—where strangers become partners in service, and hope is hand-delivered through acts of kindness.
And while the gifts were many, what lingers most are the smiles, the shared moments, and the quiet joy of being seen, heard, and embraced.
There are still children in Cebu—especially those with autism—waiting to be understood, included, and loved. And as long as we wear the Rotary wheel, we will continue to show up for them.
Together, we are warming hearts—one bag at a time.
To God be the glory.
