Learning Beyond the Club Meeting: Rotarians Join District 3790 Online Learning Sessions

Continuing the spirit of lifelong learning, members of the club participated in two important online district activities on August 8, 2026. The first was the Make-Up PESELS 2026 via Zoom, which provided leadership and Rotary education opportunities for members who were unable to attend the earlier session.

Later that day, members joined the District 3790 Webinar featuring RI Director Tom Gump on the topic “What Will Rotary Look Like in 2030?”. The discussion explored the future of Rotary, including innovation, membership engagement, digital transformation, and the evolving needs of communities around the world.

The webinar encouraged participants to think strategically about how local clubs can remain relevant while staying rooted in Rotary’s enduring values. It also highlighted the importance of adaptability and collaboration in shaping the next decade of service.

On August 09, 2026, another online learning session was held hosted by Rotary Club of Iligan, District 3870 on “Building Community Champions: How to organize and sustain a Rotary Community Corps (RCC). By participating in these online learning opportunities, club members demonstrated that Rotary education extends beyond physical meetings and remains an essential part of effective leadership and meaningful service.
