For the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU), every meeting is more than an agenda—it’s an opportunity to strengthen bonds and create impact. This was especially true during the club’s 4th Regular Meeting, hosted by Team Pogo, where members welcomed the guest: Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) Sheila Marie Primicias of the Department of Education Schools Division Office (SDO) City of San Fernando.
SDS Primicias inspired the audience as she outlined key programs designed to support learners’ growth and well-being, including Project Sagip, Speak Up, Hydration Break, No Backpack Policy, Batang Malakas sa Inuming Gatas, Gulayan sa Paaralan, and Sports Development initiatives. Each program, she explained, addresses not just academic needs but also health, nutrition, safety, and life skills—ensuring that learners thrive in and beyond the classroom.
But beyond the programs, what stood out was the celebration of a remarkable milestone: 20 years of partnership between RCSFLU, the Inner Wheel Club of San Fernando La Union (IWCSFLU), and the SDO City of San Fernando. Over two decades, this collaboration has touched thousands of lives—bringing educational resources, relief assistance, and community support to countless learners and families in San Fernando.
The event reflected the club’s theme of “Unite for Good”, underscoring the value of partnerships in achieving lasting community impact.
