The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union Celebrates Leadership and Service at Cluster 1B Turnover Ceremonies

The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) joined fellow Rotarians of Cluster 1B on May 25, 2026, at Gefseis Greek and Grill in San Juan, La Union, for the Cluster Year-End Meeting and Turnover Ceremonies. The event celebrated a year of accomplishments while welcoming a new team of leaders who will guide the cluster into the next Rotary year.

Representing RCSFLU, outgoing President Alvin was recognized for his dedicated leadership and commitment to advancing the club's service projects, membership initiatives, and community partnerships throughout Rotary Year 2025–2026. The gathering also introduced incoming President Rem, who is set to lead RCSFLU into a new chapter of service and growth.

The event likewise honored outgoing Assistant Governor Rachelle “Dada” Raquepo and the Unite for Good Team for their successful stewardship of Cluster 1B. Leadership was formally transferred to incoming Assistant Governor Kyle Nisce and the Create Lasting Impact Team, signaling a fresh start built on the strong foundation established by previous leaders.

District Governor-Elect Ronald “Ronnie” S. Dy inspired attendees with a message emphasizing leadership development, collaboration, and readiness for the upcoming Rotary year. The message of District Governor Dan Torres delivered by Chief of Staff Sheilah Dacanay also commended the accomplishments of Cluster 1B and encouraged Rotarians to continue pursuing service opportunities that create meaningful change in their communities.
