Rotary Club of Marikina Hilltop Brings Goodness Through ApoLo Project Year 13

On December 18, 2025, the Rotary Club of Marikina Hilltop successfully conducted its "ApoLo Project Year 13" at the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center (ARMC) in Marikina City, continuing its long-standing commitment to service and compassion for children and families in need, in line with the Rotary theme of “Unite for Good.”

The ApoLo Project, which stands for “Apo at Lolo Project,” reflects Rotary’s dedication to caring for both the young and the elderly. Now in its 13th year, this flagship annual initiative aims to bring comfort, support, and joy to children—particularly those confined in hospitals—during the Christmas season.

The activity benefited almost a hundred children, who received thoughtfully prepared care packs designed to address both their practical and emotional needs. Each pack contained baby and child essentials, hygiene kits, healthy milk drinks, and stuffed toys, providing not only much-needed supplies but also moments of happiness for the children and their families.

The success of ApoLo Project Year 13 was made possible through the generous donations of the members of the Rotary Club of Marikina Hilltop, whose continued support and commitment to service enabled the club to carry out this meaningful initiative. The club also extends its heartfelt gratitude to District Lt.G. Jojo Flores for the donation of stuffed toys, which greatly contributed to brightening the day of the young beneficiaries.

Through ApoLo Project Year 13, the Rotary Club of Marikina Hilltop once again embodied the true spirit of Rotary—Service Above Self—by uniting members in service, sharing hope, kindness, and compassion with the community. The club remains steadfast in its mission to sustain and expand its humanitarian efforts in the years to come, ensuring that meaningful service continues to touch lives across generations.
