Picture twinkling parols and carols clashing with neon afros: Christmas spirit meets wigged mayhem in pure Rotary joy.
On December 27, 2025, the Magallanes Room at City Sports Club Cebu blazed with vibrant chaos. Rotary Club of Cebu Gloria Maris (RCCGM), led by President Roxene Rosario, hosted a members-only wig party that reignited sisterhood amid Christmas whirl—infusing holiday peace, goodwill, and festive fire.
Over 20 members swept in, crowned in outrageous wigs: neon pink afros bobbing wildly, glittering silver and blonde cascades swaying like holiday beacons under parol lights. President Rosario, radiant in her blonde masterpiece, ignited the vibe: "Today, we ponder sisterhood—wigs on, hearts wide open to Christmas magic." Games exploded—wig relays sending hairpieces flying like joyful stars, disguise dashes twisting faces into hilarious masks, bonds forging in a relentless glitter storm laced with "Pasko Na Naman" echoes.
Sumptuous lunch anchored the frenzy: crispy lechon crackling, garlic rice steaming with island aroma, bibingka and Black Forest cake devoured amid tsokolate toasts. Laughter boomed as a veteran toppled in Trip to Jerusalem with a wig twist, upstaged by a nimble newcomer as everyone vied fiercely for prizes.
Spotlight moment: Celebrating October, November, and December birthday stars with cheers, cake slices, and wigged serenades—extending Christmas love to honor their year-round spirit.
This strikes deep for RCCGM: In Cebu's relentless pace, sisterhood is their anchor—a resilient ethos echoing Gloria Maris, powering service from school builds to feeds; this party recharged that fire with holiday heart.
"Wigs aren't just fun—they crown our shared spirit anew."—President Roxene Rosario
The true spark? Mingling with incoming satellite members, voices blending over dessert dreams. New faces shared bold visions—youth programs, disaster relief—weaving threads into RCCGM's tapestry, turning party into Christmas-powered powerhouse.
As twilight glowed, Polaroids captured askew wigs, lingering hugs, and carol swells; vows renewed in Christmas glow. RCCGM proved sisterhood thrives in playful chaos—one electric party fortifying bonds for service ahead.
