The Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre (RCCPC) in partnership with Alta Vista Golf & Country Club, conducted a Relief Operation for Typhoon Tino Victims in Cogon Pardo, Cebu, bringing much-needed aid and comfort to 200 affected families.
Each family received food packs containing sardines, beef loaf, corned beef, noodles, bihon, rice, and bottled water — small tokens of care that bring hope amid loss.
Leading the RCCPC team was President Francis Walter Ong, joined by AG Antonio Tan, Jr. & spouse Marz, Sec. Jun Exaltacion & spouse Dindin, PAG Jensen Racho, PIC Marvin Soco & son Miguel, Treas. Jerome Villordon, Dir. Clark Byron Gothong, Dir. Marlon Pajulas & spouse Anabel, Dir. Robert Barquilla, Rtn. Bobby Adan, and Vanessa Parame.
Our team was warmly received by City Councilor Harry Eran and Barangay Cogon Pardo officials led by Barangay Captain Jay Bacalso, whose partnership and hospitality made this outreach possible.
In times of calamity, Rotarians stand as people of action, transforming compassion into tangible service. Guided by our enduring motto —“Service Above Self” — we are reminded that even the simplest act of kindness can bring light to those who have lost much.
“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18
Together, we continue to spread hope, rebuild lives, and live out the true spirit of Rotary.
