As the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) ushers in a new Rotary year, all eyes turn to Remigio "Rem" Bonifacio III, fondly known as REMBO, as he assumes the role of Club President for Rotary Year 2026-2027. A Rotarian since May 14, 2019, Rem brings seven years of dedicated service and a proven record of leadership, having served as Club Vice President, Public Image Chair, and Membership Chair. His journey reflects a steadfast commitment to strengthening both the club and the communities it serves.
Among his most enduring contributions is the Career Guidance Series Project, a signature initiative he championed for RCSFLU. Designed to empower students through mentorship, career exploration, and practical guidance, the program has become a platform for inspiring young minds to pursue their aspirations with confidence. The project embodies Rem's belief that investing in the youth today creates leaders for tomorrow.
Known for his collaborative approach and passion for service, Rem has consistently demonstrated the qualities of a leader who builds connections and encourages participation. His ability to unite members around meaningful causes has helped reinforce the club's culture of service and fellowship, earning him the trust and support of fellow Rotarians.
As he takes the helm under Rotary International's theme, "Create Lasting Impact," President Rem is poised to guide RCSFLU toward greater heights. Building on the club's strong foundation, he envisions programs that are not only impactful but sustainable—ensuring that the club's service leaves a lasting legacy in the lives of those it touches. Through his leadership, RCSFLU is set to continue creating positive change, one project, one partnership, and one community at a time.
