The Rotary Club of San Fernando, La Union (RCSFLU) held its 22nd Regular Meeting on February 24, 2026, at the Clubhouse Thunderbird became a meaningful platform for environmental awareness and community dialogue. Members gathered not only for fellowship but also to deepen their understanding of environmental preservation through an engaging learning session led by guest speaker Mr. Ruben Guieb, Resident Scientist of the Koalisyon Isalbar ti Pintas ti La Union (Save the Beauty of La Union Coalition), Inc.
Mr. Guieb shared scientific insights and community-driven initiatives focused on protecting La Union’s natural landscapes and coastal ecosystems. He emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in safeguarding environmental resources, highlighting how local actions contribute significantly to long-term sustainability.
