The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) reaffirmed its commitment to building stronger connections with the community by participating in the Public Image Seminar held on September 6, 2025, at the Speaker Pro Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Convention Center in San Fernando City.
The seminar gathered Rotary clubs across the district to deepen their understanding of effective public image strategies and the vital role communication plays in advancing Rotary’s mission. Sessions focused on best practices in storytelling, media engagement, and digital presence, highlighting how strong public image translates into greater impact for service projects.
RCSFLU’s strong representation did not go unnoticed. The club was recognized as the 3rd Biggest Delegation in attendance, a testament to the members’ collective dedication to learning and growth. Their active participation underscored the club’s commitment to sharpening its tools in advocacy and outreach.
From documenting community projects to strengthening its social media presence, RCSFLU has continuously invested in showcasing Rotary’s work to inspire broader participation and support. Participation in the seminar was particularly meaningful as it tied directly with Rotary International’s emphasis on Public Image as one of the key drivers of membership growth and community trust.
The event echoed RCSFLU’s guiding theme for the year, “Unite for Good,” by reminding Rotarians that public image is not just about visibility, but about telling authentic stories of service that connect hearts and minds.
As the club looks ahead to its upcoming projects, including education-focused programs and peacebuilding initiatives, the lessons from the seminar will serve as a valuable tool in amplifying its message of service above self. Through a stronger public image—and the recognition of its members’ active involvement—RCSFLU is ready to inspire more people to take part in meaningful change.
