RC San Fernando La Union Officers Highlight Importance of SEC Registration at RC San Fernando City North Meeting

Strengthening inter-club collaboration and good governance practices, officers of the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) participated in the 27th Regular Meeting of the Rotary Club of San Fernando City North on March 5. The meeting was held at Anak ni Conching, bringing together Rotarians from neighboring clubs for fellowship and knowledge-sharing.

Representing RCSFLU were Treasurer/PND Aldrin and Secretary Lexus, who were invited to share insights on the importance of registering Rotary clubs with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Their presentation focused on how legal registration strengthens a club’s institutional credibility and compliance with regulatory requirements.

During the discussion, they emphasized that SEC registration plays a crucial role in Grant Management, particularly in relation to District Grants and Global Grants under the Rotary International framework. Proper legal documentation ensures transparency, accountability, and eligibility for funding opportunities that support sustainable community projects.
