RC San Fernando La Union Highlights Partnership with PNP San Fernando City

The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) held its 6th Regular Meeting, underscoring its strong collaboration with the Philippine National Police – San Fernando City (PNP SFC) in carrying out meaningful service projects.

Among the initiatives carried out jointly by the Club and PNP SFC was the donation of wheelchairs to persons with disabilities and individuals in need of mobility assistance. This effort showcased how cooperation between civic groups and law enforcement can extend beyond peace and order, addressing humanitarian needs and uplifting the lives of vulnerable sectors.

Discussions during the meeting also emphasized the importance of building sustainable partnerships where resources, manpower, and expertise are pooled together for greater community impact.

Both RCSFLU and PNP SFC reaffirmed their commitment to continue working hand in hand on future projects that promote safety, accessibility, and inclusive development.

The meeting further highlighted Rotary’s guiding principle of “Service Above Self”, reminding members that service becomes more effective when carried out in collaboration with like-minded partners. By joining forces with institutions such as the PNP, the Club is able to expand its reach and ensure that programs touch more lives in meaningful ways.
