RC Cebu Port Centre Shows Resilience Amidst Adversity

On our way to San Remegio to deliver much-needed relief goods for our brothers and sisters affected by the recent 6.9 magnitude earthquake, our RCCPC team faced unexpected road challenges — a flat tire and defective brake pads.

But true to the spirit of Rotary, challenges did not stop us. Thanks to the quick action of our fellow Rotarian, Sec. Jun Exaltacion, who immediately sent a mechanic to our aid, we were able to move forward with our mission.

This experience reminds us that Service Above Self is not just about the act of giving, but also about the resilience, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to reach those in need — no matter the obstacles along the way.

Indeed, when Rotarians come together, no roadblock is too big, no journey is too far.
