RC Cebu Port Centre leads relief operations in Northern Cebu

“Even challenges can’t stop hearts that are ready to serve.”

The Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre, headed by President Francis Walter Ong, in partnership with the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce & Industry led by President Rtn. Mark Ynoc, and the Ynoc Foundation headed by PAG Tony & Gloria Ynoc & Family, successfully conducted its Relief Operation for Northern Cebu, specifically in San Remegio, one of the areas badly hit by the recent 6.9 magnitude earthquake.

This mission brought aid to 500 affected families, who each received construction materials, rice, water, canned goods, ready-to-eat food packs, hygiene kits, mattresses, and more. For a seamless and organized distribution, each family was provided with claim tubs, ensuring that assistance reached those who needed it most.

Despite encountering heavy traffic, a flat tire, and busted brake pads on the way, our dedicated team pressed on — proving that nothing can stop people of action who embody Rotary’s spirit of Service Above Self.

With compassion as our drive and unity as our strength, we continue to Unite for Good, bringing hope, comfort, and care to our brothers and sisters in need.
