At Sitio CCF, Umapad, Mandaue City, the spirit of Rotary shone brightly.
Through the leadership of Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre President Francis Walter Ong and RC Forbes Park President Ronald Cillo, our joint relief operation brought hope and comfort to 150 families affected by Typhoon Tino. Mattresses, pillows, water, towels, 4-gallon pails, and hygiene kits were distributed—simple yet meaningful essentials that speak of care, compassion, and shared humanity.
A special acknowledgement to the Rotary Club of Forbes Park, who flew all the way to Cebu to personally extend help to our fellow Cebuanos affected by the recent typhoon. Their financial donation and hands-on service demonstrate what true Rotary commitment looks like. Our gratitude also goes to Barangay Captain Reb Cortes of Umapad for warmly welcoming the Rotarians and ensuring smooth coordination on the ground.
We witnessed what it truly means to be People of Action—Rotarians who show up, cross distances, and live out the motto of Service Above Self.
Most importantly, this mission highlighted the power of UNITING FOR GOOD. The collaboration between RC Cebu Port Centre and RC Forbes Park is only the beginning of a stronger partnership between two dedicated and dynamic Rotary clubs—committed to working together to rebuild communities and uplift lives.
Bangon Sugbo! Together, we rise, we serve, and we unite for good.
