RC Cebu Port Centre Conducts Site Visit at Paknaan Day Care Center 3

The site visit to Paknaan Day Care Center 3 in Barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City was more than an assessment, it was a clear reminder that when communities are struck by adversity, the call to serve becomes even stronger.

Damaged by Typhoon Tino, the center now stands as both a challenge and an opportunity, an opportunity for us to restore not just a structure, but a safe space where young minds can learn, grow, and dream again.

Guided by Rotary’s commitment to Basic Education and Literacy, the Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre, led by President Francis Walter Ong, together with IPP Kit Daleon and Director Robert Barquilla, took the first step in exploring a meaningful rehabilitation project in partnership with Worldwide Steel Group. We are grateful for the warm welcome and support of Paknaan Barangay Councilor Marilou Soco, whose presence reflects the community’s shared hope for rebuilding.
