RC Cebu Gloria Maris Strengthens Collaboration with Area 1 Clubs through ACOM Meeting

On August 16, 2025, the Rotary Club of Cebu Gloria Maris (RCCGM) actively participated in the ACOM Area 1 Coordination Meeting held at City Sports Club, Cebu. The gathering served as a crucial platform for Area 1 clubs to align their goals, review upcoming activities, and build stronger collaboration in preparation for the Governor’s Visit and other district-wide initiatives.

The coordination meeting opened with discussions that highlighted the importance of working together as one Rotary family. By focusing on shared priorities and addressing challenges collectively, the session fostered an atmosphere of fellowship, strategic thinking, and forward planning.

Aligning for Service and Unity

The meeting’s agenda centered on fellowship, service projects, membership engagement, and coordination strategies. Leaders from various clubs shared best practices that have worked effectively in their respective organizations, while also identifying areas that require stronger cooperation. This exchange of ideas reinforced the true essence of Rotary’s mission—achieving more together than alone.

The conversations also emphasized the value of teamwork and unity in sustaining service projects and ensuring that upcoming district activities run smoothly. By aligning their plans, Area 1 clubs were able to establish a roadmap that not only prepared them for the Governor’s Visit but also strengthened their capacity to deliver meaningful service to their communities.

RCCGM’s Active Participation

Representing the Rotary Club of Cebu Gloria Maris were Assistant Governor Chris, President Rox Rosario, and Secretary Dothy. Their active engagement in the discussions reflected RCCGM’s commitment to contributing insights, sharing experiences, and ensuring that the club’s efforts remain aligned with the district’s overarching goals.

Through their contributions, RCCGM demonstrated its readiness to work hand in hand with other Area 1 clubs, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration and partnership. This participation underscored the club’s belief that true Rotary impact is achieved when clubs unite under a common purpose.

A Platform for Growth and Impact

The ACOM Area 1 Coordination Meeting was not simply a gathering of leaders; it was a catalyst for growth and collective impact. By harmonizing their objectives, Area 1 clubs set the stage for stronger fellowship and more effective service delivery in the months ahead.

The event also served as a reminder that Rotary thrives when clubs support each other, share knowledge, and move forward with solidarity. For RCCGM, being part of such a meaningful platform is both an honor and a responsibility—a commitment to uphold the values of service, leadership, and community impact.

Moving Forward Together

As RCCGM and fellow Area 1 clubs prepare for the Governor’s Visit and other significant events, the lessons and strategies drawn from this meeting will serve as their guide. With strengthened collaboration, the clubs are better positioned to bring Rotary’s mission closer to the communities they serve.

The ACOM Area 1 Coordination Meeting was more than just preparation—it was a reaffirmation that when Rotarians come together, they embody the very heart of Rotary: unity in service for lasting change.
