The Rotary E-Club of Inner Heart Mandaluyong, led by Charter President / Good President Jaena Jimenez, organized a tree planting project entitled “Plant a Tree, Save Mother Earth.”
In today’s world, we face increasing challenges from typhoons, flooding, and erosion. Through this simple yet meaningful act of planting trees, we aim to inspire others to show love and care for our environment. There is no better time to act than now—not tomorrow, but today. While issues such as flood control and corruption persist, Rotary members believe that one of the best ways to help our communities is through tree planting. We also encourage everyone to join this mission. With the support of RCC Inner Heart Nasugbu (our sponsored RCC) and SGLII, more hands mean more trees planted, and more protection for our communities against natural disasters.
At 6:00 AM, members of the Rotary E-Club of Inner Heart Mandaluyong, RCC Inner Heart Nasugbu, and SGLII gathered at the residence of President Elect Maridel Barcelon before heading to Barangay Reparo—a 45-minute drive to the site. By 7:15 AM, the group set off, arriving around 8:00 AM with fruit-bearing seedlings and gardening tools in hand.
Excitement filled the air as participants walked around, chatting and preparing for the activity.
Volunteers were then divided into three groups—Rotary E-Club of Inner Heart Mandaluyong, RCC Inner Heart Nasugbu, and SGLII—before coming together for a final group photo to celebrate the day’s success.
The ReC Inner Heart Mandaluyong members who took part in this project were CP/GP Jaena Jimenez, Sec./PE Maridel Barcelon, Treas./PN Daisy Dura, Public Image Chair Edwin Ferrer, Membership Chair James Andrew Ravina, and baby Rotarians Pjay Dumo, Paul Villaviray, Mhean Sta. Maria, Jaime Martin, and Revilla Vargas.
Together with RCC Inner Heart Nasugbu and SGLII, the Rotary E-Club of Inner Heart Mandaluyong planted fruit-bearing trees—symbols of hope, shade, and life. This initiative is more than just about planting trees—it is planting a legacy of sustainability, unity, and care for our environment. Together, we are building a greener tomorrow, one tree at a time.
