Partnering for Progress: RC San Fernando La Union Recognized for Transformative Support in Education

The Rotary Club of San Fernando, La Union (RCSFLU) proudly joined education partners and community leaders at the Stakeholders’ Convergence themed “Elevating Education through Transformative Partnership” held on November 26, 2025. The event underscored the power of collaboration in advancing quality education and strengthening community support for learners across the Schools Division of San Fernando City.

During the ceremony, RCSFLU was deeply honored to receive a Recognition Award from the Department of Education (DepEd) – Schools Division Office as one of its valued stakeholders. The award reflects the club’s unwavering commitment, consistent support, and meaningful collaboration as an education partner in programs that uplift both learners and their communities.

This distinction highlights RCSFLU’s instrumental role in contributing to the success of DepEd initiatives—whether through school-based projects, youth development efforts, literacy programs, or community service activities that reinforce the shared mission of empowering students and shaping a brighter future.

The award was formally presented by Ms. Sheila Marie A. Primicias, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent, and received on behalf of the club by Director Reinier Abenojar and Youth Service Officer Angelo Dorotan.

Their presence signified the club’s steadfast dedication to building strong partnerships rooted in service, compassion, and collective responsibility.
